"Mocha," is a great looking 1999 brown mare (looks black) by the hottest barrel sire in the nation, “Dash Ta Fame.” Her maternal side is no slouch either, combining the lineage of Coup De Kas (sire of the Duke’s great mare Tejeretta) and Humbolt (x Alamitos Bars.) We purchased Mocha from Cody Bauserman. Mocha incurred a bone chip in the ankle during her racing career, preventing her from making it to the barrel pen. Her early career earned her a speed index of 75.
Her Dam, Creme De Mocha, is a Superior Race Horse. She earned a speed index of 108 (11 wins, $91,042 earnings) and was a Hi-Point 3 year-old filly. Mocha Latte’s full brother, Latte Doodah, continued the family’s winning ways with a speed index of 108, and earnings of over $80,000. Mocha's first foal, "Dellatte Fame," finished 15th in the Average at the 2007 SpeedHorse Gold Cup Barrel Futurity.
Mocha is in foal to Firewater On Ice for a 2008 foal.
